Breakfast and snacks Ideas: Figs jam with low fat plain greek yogurt| Sevvanna1


Hey guys! I hope you all had a beautiful new year and an awesome holiday for christmas :)! This episode I will show you how to do these delicious figs Jam were you can eat it with greek plain yogurt. am warning it contains sugar and it is very sweet as figs is a sweet fruit and helps to manage weightloss if you want to lose weight so this is a tip for all of you out there who got a sweet tooth and would like to lose weight, eat as many as you can raw figs they help :)))! but yes lets focus now to do the Jammy part of it. Enjoy ;)!!

Ingredients:
juice of 1 lemon
200g of green figs (preferable not red)
200g of granulated sugar

Procedure
1.cut the figs and discard the skin then chop the figs into pieces.
2.in a medium pan add the figs with the lemon juice and leave it until the figs are soft and moshy
3.Bring to a simmer and cook gently for 5 minutes
4.add the sugar and leave it until it dissolves.
5.Once it dissolves, bring to the boil and simmer over a low medium hear for around 5 minutes until the mixture is jammy.
6.leave it until it cools so it will start to thickens
7. serve with bread or plain greek yogurt 🙂 enjoy!
